Everyone is looking for it…the Fountain of Youth.
Most of us know such a thing doesn’t exist and are sensible enough to visit sites like https://www.tashanicolewright.com/elemis-pro-collagen-marine-cream-review/ and read the reviews of various creams before buying them. 80% of how you age is actually in your control! I covered this topic a few months ago here and told you about sites like organic-looks.com, which provides you with reviews of various organic products which are available in the market so that you choose the best one as per your requirement.
So if we’re in control of a good bit of how we age, how do we maximize those results?
Nearly every dermatologist and skincare expert will tell you to incorporate retinol into your skincare regimen. You can get the best treatment you want from top of the line companies such as Touch Up Laser but having this power-packed ingredient in what you use is considered the gold standard when it comes to reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, sun damage, large pores, dull skin, acne scarring, and more. Retinol improves skin’s firmness and elasticity, while also encouraging cell turnover to improve skin texture and make skin appear brighter. Some experts may recommend a prescription retinoid like Differein, Tazorac, Renova, or Retin-A. While this version of retinol may be stronger, it may not be better. Some retinoid users can experience itching and dryness due to the higher concentration. Additionally, many of these retinoids come packaged in an applicator tube which is easily exposed to oxygen and light and can actually degrade the retinol in the product, and there are also products like the best skin exfoliation products which also help with the skin.
If you’re looking to incorporate retinol into your anti-aging skincare routine, a lesser concentration in a more stable, non-irritating formula will offer improved results with consistent use over time without the irritation, dryness, and flaking some people may encounter from prescription doses.
In addition to retinol, other helping anti-aging ingredients you should be incorporating into your daily skincare routine include sunscreen, glycolic acid, peptides, and acetyl glucosamine.
I’ve been using retinol in my morning and nightly skincare routine for the last 3 years and my skin has never looked better. If you’re curious to know the anti-aging products that have helped me and thousands of others turn back the hands of time, shoot me a message.
I have been hearing a lot about retinal lately not just for aging but for acne as well. I have to look more into how effective it is.
Yes, it’s definitely a powerful ingredient for both…I can attest to that! Let me know if you have any questions about it, Sophia. Happy to help!

Sorry to hear you’re sensitive to retinol…even in non-prescription doses? I’ve had several clients with sensitive skin who have been able to tolerate non-prescription strength. That’s great to hear your husband uses it! Let me know if you have any questions or want more info about a lower dosage that may not be as trying on your sensitive skin…

Retinol is a wonderful addition to a skincare routine. A good friend of mine mixes Retin A with a high-quality face cream. After three months the results were completely amazing. I love that the product you’re using is working exceptionally well and contributes to your glowing beauty!
